Have you been trying to think of NEW ways to engage sponsors outside of galas and events that can expand your supporter base and digital presence?
Introducing...co-branded content!
Co-branded content isn’t a new marketing strategy. It’s been used successfully all
throughout the for-profit sector to expand brand recognition for two or more
companies that have similar audiences.
Now, it's your turn! Whether you're a small OR large organization, this is a new way to think about consistent sponsorship opportunities.
- How will this benefit your nonprofit?
- Expand your audience and reach
- Grow into new markets and demographics
- Develop a deeper and mutually beneficial relationship with sponsors
- Share resources with one another
During this session, you'll learn:
- Phase One: How To Identify Your Audience, Partner(s) & Content
- Phase Two: How To Price & Pitch the Sponsorship
Joe Waters
The go-to strategy for nonprofits that want to work with companies is sponsorship – and rightfully so. Nonprofits raise millions of dollars every year from companies that sponsor their events and programs.
However, sponsorship is just one of eight strategies nonprofits can use to raise money from companies. It’s too hard to recruit companies to limit your engagement with them to one strategy. Companies have so much more to offer!
How will this benefit your nonprofit?
- Develop a holistic corporate fundraising strategy that involves multiple touchpoints.
- Build deeper relationships with companies that reduces partner turnover.
- Learn from other nonprofits that created multiple revenue streams with companies.
During this lesson, you’ll learn:
- The seven different ways that every nonprofit should be raising money from companies.
- How to use sponsorship as a stepping-stone to deeper engagement with companies and more lucrative partnerships.
Drew Boyd
Corporate sponsorships of nonprofits are so commonplace that they’ve lost their appeal to everyday consumers. We’ve reached a saturation point where consumers just expect companies to support good causes. As a result, it has become much harder for the nonprofit and their corporate sponsor to stand out and gain more share of head and heart in the race for donations and volunteers.
Just as advertisers had to learn and adjust with more creative commercials, nonprofits need to learn how to set up more unique and creative programs. This session will describe how to do that using systematic creativity tools as applied to four different types of sponsorship programs: transactional, licensing, focused promotion, and business activity.

You did everything right with your sponsors – you prospected, you had valuable sponsor offerings, and you even got their logos posted in all the right places.
Why didn’t those sponsors sign on again this year?
So many nonprofits focus on soliciting and signing sponsors but fail to treat sponsors with the respect and courtesy they deserve. This means every year the organization has to start back at square one trying to solicit more new sponsors. It’s an exhausting cycle, and a waste of time and resources.
Now it’s time to stop that negative cycle and turn sponsorships into a wonderful long-term relationships!
In this presentation, nonprofit event producer and engagement strategist A.J. Steinberg, CFRE takes you step-by-step through the engagement strategies necessary to engage and please sponsors.
In this session you will learn:
- How to avoid the 3 things sponsors hate the most
- How to become a “sponsor concierge”
- How to create a sponsorship protocol for your organization
This all-new presentation gives you a fresh perspective on your sponsorship relationships and simple ways to make sponsors fall in love with your organization.
